Police seize Pakistan mobile SIM card from PoK dweller in Poonch

The SIM card was seized and a case registered, police said, adding the woman had come to meet her relative in Poonch district.

Police today recovered a mobile SIM card of a Pakistani mobile company from Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) traveller at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Police found the SIM card during search of the bag of one Abida Parveen, wife of Mohd Gul of Hajira soon after crossing over to this side on LOC bus service via Poonch-Rawalakote trans-border road from PoK at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point in Poonch district, police officials said in Poonch.

The SIM card was seized and a case registered, they said adding the woman had come to meet her relative Mohmmad Iqbal of Harni village in Mendhar tehsil in Poonch district.
