National Conference, Congress leaders meet to discuss Kashmir situation

Leaders of National Conference and Congress met here today to discuss ways to strengthen the coalition government and deal with ongoing crisis in the state.

The meeting was attended by chief minister Omar Abdullah, president of Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee
Saif-ud-Din Soz, deputy chief minister Tara Chand, finance
minister Abdul Rahim Rather, senior Congress leader Mangat Ram Sharma and senior National Conference leader Mohammad Ramzan, an official release said.

"The committee discussed various matters pertaining to the coordination between the two parties and measures to further strengthen the coalition government," it said.
