Miraculous escape from tornado for Orissa CM

Orissa chief minister Naveen Patnaik had a miraculous escape when a tornado hit the venue of a public gathering just 20 minutes after he left the area on Sunday morning.
The BJD’s youth wing had organised a huge meeting at the Bali Yatra grounds in Cuttack on Sunday morning. Over 20,000 youth from across the state were attending.

Patnaik addressed the youth and party workers at the meeting, which ended at 2.30 pm. Soon after, Patnaik and other leaders left for Bhubaneswar. The second session of the meeting was scheduled for 3.30 pm. But, suddenly a major twister hit the venue around 3.05 pm. A huge tent erected for the meeting was totally dismantled and over 10 BJD workers were injured.
