Four people were killed and scores others injured in firing and clash between policemen and locals opposing construction of a starch factory and approach road at Bhajan village under Forbesganj Industrial Area in Araria district on June 3.
State Minority Welfare Minister Shahid Ali Khan today said the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Congress have no moral right to speak on the police firing which killed four persons and injured many others in Forbesganj on June 3.
"The RJD and Congress have no moral right to speak on behalf of the Forbesganj firing victims as the people are aware of their handling of such unfortunate and sensitive incident during their respective party being in power", Khan said.

Stating that the state government had already announced a judicial inquiry to ensure justice, Khan said the government had also paid compensation of Rs3 lakh to father of a child who was killed in the firing.
"We feel that the incident is unfortunate, but the judicial probe will ensure justice and other victims would be entitled to compensation after the completion of probe," he said.
"People, especially the members of minority community, have not forgotten the atrocities unleashed on them by the RJD and Congress as both the parties have only exploited the minorities and used them as their vote banks," he said.
"Whosoever he may be, if found guilty will have to face the music...," Khan said.
Ruling NDA is under attack from opposition parties, who have also demanded a CBI inquiry into the firing.
