An earthquake of mild intensity hit the Assam-Nagaland border region on Friday night.
According to the Met department, the earthquake measured 4.4 on the Richter scale.
The tremor occurred at 9.15 pm and its focal depth was 10 km, a statement issued in Delhi said.
