Maoists blow up culvert in Bihar, one dead

One person, suspected to be a Naxalite, was killed as Maoists blasted a culvert at Boulia under Nauhatta police station in Bihar's Rohtas district early today, police said.

Over 75 ultras gathered at the spot and triggered a landmine blast in which the culvert was blown up.

The blast site is under Chenari assembly constituency going to polls in the sixth and final phase of assembly election on November 20.

Heavy reinforcements with CRPF personnel were combing the nearby jungle to look for the Maoists.
