Man found unconcious at Kumbh mela area dies

Police found a man in an unconscious state at Kumbh Mela area at Haridwar and he later died while being taken to a hospital.

The man was identified as Choli Bhonsale (55) belonging to Maharashtra. He died on the way to a hospital after being found in the mela area, police said.

However, local shopkeepers alleged that he died in police custody, a charge denied by the state police.
