Opposition parties today created uproar in the Lok Sabha demanding resignation of telecom minister A Raja on the 2G spectrum allocation issue and dismissal of another minister over his alleged involvement in illegal arms deal.

The House, which saw two adjournments during the Question
and Zero Hours, adjourned for the day shortly after it met for
the post-lunch sitting.

AIADMK members trooped into the well showing copies of a newspaper report alleging Raja's involvement in the spectrum
issue.

They raised slogans demanding a discussion to bring out the facts.

Supporting the AIADMK, NDA members, including BJP, stood
up and protested from their seats against Raja's alleged role
in 2G spectrum allocation.

Amidst the din, Left party members also walked into the well alleging that a minister was involved in an illegal arms deal and demanded that he should be sacked.

They showed cuttings of a newspaper report in support of their demand. "The minister should be sacked," CPI-M leader Basudeb Acharia said.

Amid the ongoing noisy scenes, a strong demand for inclusion of caste in census was made by Leader of Opposition Sushma Swaraj.

After the passage of two bills without discussion in view of the uproar, deputy speaker Karia Munda adjourned the House for the day.
