Security personnel today seized a huge amount of liquid explosives, caps made in Bangladesh and other items from a Maoist camp located in a jungle of Orissa's Malkangiri district.

The personnel of the state's elite anti-naxalite force, the Special Operation Group (SOG), raided a training camp inside Kantabaunsa jungle, 80 km from here, according to superintendent of police Anirudh Kumar Singh.

Besides liquid explosives, 17 powerful gelatine sticks, 9 belts, 11 caps and CD in telegu language, two bundles of fuse wire and high powered batteries were also seized.

The Maoists might have left the camp just before the SOG personnel reached the spot, he said.
