Even as dissident leader G Janardhan Reddy continued to stick on his demand to replace Karnataka chief minister BS Yeddyurappa, the BJP said today that the crisis will be amicably sorted out in next 48-hours.

"The party leadership is abreast of the situation. They have already heard both sides and have also come out with some sort of solution. We are hopeful that the crisis in Karnataka will be blown over within next 48-hours," party spokesman Prakash Javadekar told reporters here.

Declining to elaborate on the kind of solution, the BJP leader claimed "Let us wait. Things have been worked out. An amicable solution will be arrived at".

"We should expect a good thing, because we are in full command of the situation and have full majority. So, we are sure that we will definitely come out of that crisis," Javadekar said.

Javdekar refused to comment, when he was asked if the prime issue on replacement of Yeddyurappa, as demanded by the rebel group led by Reddy brothers - Karnataka Tourism Minister G Janardhan Reddy and Revenue Minister G Karunakara Reddy, had been resolved with Janardhan Reddy today once again demanding for a "better leadership" in the State.

Reacting to a query, that 52 rebel BJP MLAs camping in Hyderabad had sent their resignation letters to the Reddy brothers, Javdekar asserted that they (MLAs) had not send their resignations.
