As city-folks danced to 'jingle bells Sunday, orphans in juvenile home, Khanpur weren't far too behind in the merry-making. They too had their share of fun as visitors brought in gifts for them.

Mayank Trivedi, superintendent of the juvenile home, said that Bridge Builders, a group of youngsters visited the centre and organised programmes for the children. Thirty-six kids are currently staying in the home.

Games like balloon shooting and ring games brought a smile to faces of these children. There was music too, making kids dance with gay abandon. A tattoo artist was also called in to add colours to the occasion.

Bridge Builders distributed chocolates, gifts and Santa caps among the kids. Speaking to DNA, Jagdish Khiskani, incharge of this group said, "We like to celebrate festivals in a different manner. This year, we decided to spread smiles on faces of those who are living away from their families due to unfortunate reasons."
