The highest polling of 86.06% was recorded in Langate followed by 85.40% in Khag,

More than 80% voters today exercised their franchinse in the sixth phase of Jammu and Kashmir Panchayat elections which passed off peacefully.
The exercise was held to elect 320 Sarpanches and 2320 Panches in nine blocks of the state.
An official spokesman said 80.52% polling was recorded in the sixth phase which was peaceful. The polls were held in Langate in Kupwara district, Tangmark in Baramulla, Khag in Budgam, Breng in Anantnag, Majalta in Udhampur, Reasi in Reasi, Billawar in Kathua, and Doongi and Thanamandi, both in Rajouri.
