The task force of the two countries met in Lucknow to discuss steps to check illegal activities along the border.

The Indo-Nepal task force met in Lucknow today and discussed steps to check illegal activities along the border.
"The meeting discussed issues related to smuggling and other issues," special DG (law and order) Brijlal told reporters.
He said the meeting also discussed measures to ensure better coordination between the two sides.
Uttar Pradesh has a 845km long and porous border with Nepal.
Senior civil and police officials from Gorakhpur, Devipatan, Lucknow and Bareilly divisions attended the meeting along with representatives from adjoining areas in Nepal.
Brijlal said officials of BSNL, PWD and other departments were also present.
