Heroin worth Rs20 crore seized

Police today claimed to have seized four kilogram of heroin worth Rs20 crore in the international market after the arrest of alleged accused Mohammad Rijwan alias Guddu resident of district Mujafar Nagar Uttar Paradesh.
   
Confirming the incident, an official of  Special Operation Cell said that the alleged accused was apprehended last night on tip off at Beas town nearly forty kilometers away from Amritsar when he was traveling in the car.
  
The official said that Rijwan was allegedly well contacted with the Pakistani based smugglers for the last so many years and also involved in drug trafficking.
