Harsha Bhogle decries Centre's recommendation of Sachin for RS

Cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle on Thursday spoke unfavourably about the Ministry of Home Affairs' recommendation of Sachin Tendulkar for Rajya Sabha or the upper house of Parliament.

Bhogle was quoted by TV channels as saying that people were trying to "gain mileage" out of the master blaster.

He said that Sachin Tendulkar didn't have any experience governing.

The Ministry of Home Affairs on Thursday recommended the nomination of four individuals including Sachin Tendulkar and Rekha for Rajya Sabha, or the upper house of Parliament.
