Free-for-all for booze lovers on Jaipur road

It was a free-for-all for booze lovers on a busy road of the Pink City today as they got to lay hands on cartons of beer.

The bottles were scattered on the road after a truck transporting them to Delhi from Hyderabad met with an accident.

Soon after the mishap, people thronged the area to make away with the loot, police said.

Almost half of the consignment lying on the road was looted by the people and extra police force was called to control the situation, they said.

The incident took place early in the morning when the truck collided with an another truck. The driver and cleaner of the vehicle received minor injuries in the accident, they added.
