The deadlock between the district administration of Sawai Madhopur and family members of Rajesh Meena, who jumped to death on Thursday, continued today.
Meena's family members are demanding compensation for his death and are not accepting his body.
The situation is under control and extra forces have been deployed in the area as efforts are being made to end the deadlock, the police said.
Meena was protesting against police inaction when he jumped from an overhead water tank in Surwal town of the district and died.
The incident led to protests by the residents following which a police inspector was burnt alive.
Meanwhile, tension erupted following a clash between two communities in Bhilwara district.
One man received mild injuries in stone pelting that occurred in Kotwali area last night, the police said.
