Cylinder explodes in Lucknow; 1 killed, 4 injured

A 30-year-old man was killed and four others were injured after a cooking gas cylinder exploded in a house in Gosaiganj area in Lucknow, police said today.

The victim, Rajesh Kumar Singh, was cooking food last night when the LPG cylinder burst due to leakage. Rajesh died on the spot while four others, who were tenants in the house, sustained injuries.

The injured were rushed to a local hospital where their condition was stated to be stable, police said.
