Although BJP was a "disciplined party", the recent suspension of four party MLAs for voting for the Congress candidate in the recent Rajya Sabha polls in Assam was a "disturbing trend", a senior BJP leader said today.

"The party will analyse the reasons behind the diversion of certain members from party discipline and will exercise extreme caution in giving tickets to people with such low moral ethics", BJP's Assam unit vice president Dhruba Baishya told reporters here.

He further said that the party's national president Nitin Gadkari will address a public rally here on April five protesting against the continuous price rise during Congress rule in the country.

The rally has been organised as a part of the party's ongoing nation-wide agitation against price rise.

Gadkari was also scheduled to address a meeting of all BJP MPs and MLAs of the Northern Eastern states along with the party office-bearers of the region.
