Couple seek police protection

A middle-aged couple, who married against the wishes of their children has sought police protection fearing resistance from their children, officials said here.
     
The couple 50-year-old Mehfoz Hasan fell in love with a divorced woman Mina aged 48 and married her after they eloped last week, they said.

The couple fearing a resistance from the children from their previous marriages have sought protection yesterday from the police. The sons and daughters of both Mehfoz and Mina were not in favour of their relation.
