Chiranjeevi hit by small stick at public rally

Praja Rajyam Party (PRP) president Chiranjeevi was today hit by a small stick thrown by a person while he was addressing a gathering in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh.

The actor-politician, however, escaped unhurt.

The stick, generally used to tie party flag, hit him near his ear, but he was not injured, party leader Vasireddy Padma said.

"Chiranjeevi was not at all injured and the incident was a non-issue," she said.

Padma was responding to reports in some TV channels that Chiranjeevi was injured in the incident.
