Fake Indian currency with a face value of Rs6,000 and a mobile phone was recovered from his possession.

A Bangladeshi national, working as an ULFA linkman, was apprehended by security personnel while trying to cross the border in Meghalaya's West Garo Hills district, defence officials said today.
Acting on a tip-off, the linkman was yesterday nabbed by patrolling BSF personnel from Purakhasia border outpost, they said.
Fake Indian currency with a face value of Rs6,000 and a mobile phone was recovered from his possession, they said.
The linkman was handed over to the police after interrogation by BSF, they added.
