Ancient idol seized from smugglers

Hubli: An ancient bronze idol of Goddess Natyamayuri valued at around Rs eight crore was recovered and four persons in possession of it arrested by police here.

The gang was transporting the 11-kg idol from Pavagada in Tumkur District to Goa, police said today.
