13 Tamil Nadu police officers chosen for CM's special medals

A total of 13 police officers from Tamil Nadu have been chosen for this year's Chief Minister's special medals for Social service and performance during investigation of cases, the state government said today.

SB-CID SP C Chandrasekar, Q branch DSP K Chandrasekaran and two others have been chosen for chief minister's Special Medal for Social Service, an official press release here said.

Nine officers have been chosen for chief minister's Special medal for Investigation, the release said adding they will be awarded an eight gm gold medal and Rs 5000 cash.

They will be presented with the medals at a function scheduled later, the release said.
