Al-Qaeda's Indian subcontinent (AQIS) chief Maulana Asim Umar has said that a war has been going on against Muslims through PM Narendra Modi's utterances.

In a video titled 'From France to Bangladesh: The Dust Will Never Settle Down' released by the group's publicity wing 'As Sahab', the Umar has held responsible the World Bank and IMF policies, drone attacks, Charlie Hebdo's writings and Narendra Modi's utterances for an alleged war going on against the Muslims.

The man in the video, (AQIS) chief Asim Umar, is said to be of Indian origin, possibly from northern India who reportedly migrated to Pakistan in the early nineties. The group has claimed responsibility for the murder Bangladeshi liberal blogger Avijit Roy and other seculars writers in Pakistan and Bangladesh.

AQIS was launched by Qaeda chief Ayaman Al-Zawahir for "seeking to raise the flag of jihad, return Islamic rule, and imposing Sharia across the Indian subcontinent." (Read more)

PM Narendra Modi had responded to the formation of the group saying the Militants were doing an injustice to Indian muslims adding that,"If anyone thinks Indian Muslims will dance to their tune, they are delusional."
