Amit Shah elated after dominant BJP win.
Addressing a press conference on Saturday, Amit Shah hailed the election result day as historic. He thanked the voters of North-East for accepting leadership of PM Modi and said that workers of BJP have ensured that the party has won in Meghalaya, Nagaland and Tripura.
Amit Shah also hailed senior leaders like Ram Madhav, Kiren Rijiju, Sunil Deodhar, KJ Alphons and Nalin Kohli for their contribution. BJP President said PM Modi's Act East policy was started by PM Modi. According to Amit Shah, this is a win of PM Modi's policies.
Amit Shah congratulated PM Modi for BJP getting over 50% votes in Gujarat, Himachal and now in Tripura. He said many workers laid there lives in Tripura due to Leftist violence.BJP President mocked Congress for not opening account in Nagaland and Tripura. About Left's capitulation, Amit Shah said that now it is clear that Left is not right for any part of India.
Amit Shah also said that the momentum from these wins will act as a booster in upcoming Karnataka elections. He also said that party workers in Bengal and Kerala will be elated with this win as Left has been ousted from Tripura.
Regarding the oft repeated criticism that BJP is not a pan-Indian party, he said that the saffron unit now has footprints across the country. BJP's success in North-East only further strengthens BJP's clout, says Amit Shah. He said that Tripura was unwilling to miss out on the development train, and hence decided to whole heartedly support BJP.
Amit Shah recalled death of 9 party workers in Tripura in last two years and said that their souls will rest in peace after today's win. He said that till BJP doesn't win in Odisha, West Bengal, Kerala and take back Karnataka, there can't be any golden rule for BJP.
