Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Kirti Azad, who has been raising the issue of corruption and irregularities in the Delhi and District Cricket Administration (DDCA), has once again targeted Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.

Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter on Monday night Kirti Azad tweeted, "I was visited at home by so many agencies to take precaution against threat to my life. Dear @arunjaitley darta nahin hoon napunsako se."

However, Azad later tweeted, claiming that his Twitter account was hacked and it was not his post. "My A/C is hacked. Statement on @arunjaitley as napunsak is not my tweet," he said.

DDCA row: Ram Jethmalani to appear for Arvind Kejriwal in defamation case filed by Arun Jaitley

A day ago, Kirti Azad had dared Arun Jaitley to file a defamation case against him too.

While speaking to ANI, he said, "I am upset that the defamation suit is not against me. I wish the case was against me because I am the one who raised this issue."

The political slugfest over DDCA affairs intensified on Monday after Finance Minister Arun Jaitley filed a criminal defamation complaint against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and five other leaders of AAP for allegedly defaming him in the DDCA controversy before a Delhi court which took cognisance on his plea.

Meanwhile, Congress has latched on to BJP MP Kirti Azad's claim that the government had asked CBI in October this year to probe alleged financial irregularities in DDCA, to demand the immediate resignation of Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.

The one member Commission of Enquiry will be headed by former Solicitor General Gopal Subramanium.
