Rumours of trouble in actress Chitrangada Singh's paradise surfaced yet again, with renewed force at the Lakme Fashion Week yesterday. This, because the actress supposedly ditched being showstopper for a designer at the Week, after apparently receiving notice of separation from her husband, noted golfer Jyoti Randhawa.

"You will notice that Jyoti never comes on record about Chitrangda and their marriage. They have never posed together for a photograph in recent times. There are major differences between the husband and the wife, regarding Chitrangda continuing with her film career. That is the reason she has taken so many sabbaticals in her film career," reveals a designer.

According to a source, Singh ditched her show-stopping act because she is desperately trying to mend her personal life. "We heard that Chitrangda is on the verge of signing a big role, and her husband doesn't want her to get busy especially when their son needs all the attention. She is desperately trying to mend things between her and her husband," the source adds.

However it was a completely different version when DNA got in touch with Singh's manager and her close pals. According to them, this buzz is just imagination running wild of a designer (and his publicity team of course) because he couldn't get anybody to show-stop for him and hence his show fell flat. According to Singh's pals, this designer loves to gossip and is spreading false rumours about her.

"I just spoke to her 20 minutes back and there's nothing wrong in her marriage. She is shooting for Desi Boyz (with Akshay Kumar, John Abraham and Deepika Padukone) and is abroad shooting for the movie. Her shooting schedule might not have allowed her her to attend LFW but I think spreading a malicious rumour like this is downright nasty. Whoever has done it is really out there to damage somebody's reputation," says her manager Shobha Pant.

Singh, who has been shooting all this while, believes it to be a publicity campaign that she doesn't know about. "If it is a publicity thing then let them wait to consult me. My husband is planning to stay in Mumbai with me. I have a son. I don't think anybody who even cares for me would spread such rumours about me specially when there's a kid involved. I frankly don't care about these people," Singh reportedly told a close friend when she heard about it.
