Priyanka Chopra is currently in town, busy promoting her upcoming big Hollywood break, Baywatch. However, the actress is also simultaneously looking at new scripts and scouting around for roles in future Bollywood productions. While the actress has locked in three Bollywood films for once Baywatch is done, one film she will not be appearing in is Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati.

Rumours circulated that Bhansali was in talks with Chopra with regards to her making a cameo in the historical drama.. However, the very busy Chopra addressed the rumours during a press conference for Baywatch

The actress joked around with the media saying "Just because I'm Sanjay sir's favourite, doesn't mean I'll be in all his films! We have spoken for other films but not Padmavati". Amidst the laughs, PC clarified that she hasn't talked to Bhansali about Padmavati. She said she wouldn't be associated with the film, but said that it would be an amazing movie, nonetheless.

The actress, however, did reveal that while she didn't really discuss Padmavati, she was in talks with Bhansali about other movies. While Priyanka said that she couldn't reveal details of her upcoming films due to contractual obligations, this little tid-bit gives us hope that we might just see PC in another grand Sanjay Leela Bhansali period epic.

Priyanka Chopra's Baywatch, also starring Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron, will be released in theatres on May 25, 2017. Padmavati, meanwhile, starring Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Aditi Rao Hydari, will be released in theatres on November 17, 2017.
