Game of Thrones: Pilou Asbaek to play Euron Greyjoy in season 6

Game of Thrones season six cast has a new addition. Lucy star Pilou Asbaek has been cast as Euron Geyjoy, reports Variety.

The Danish actor will play Euron Greyjoy, Lord of the Iron Islands and uncle to Theon (Alfie Allen) and Yara (Gemma Whelan). Given that the sixth season will follow the Greyjoy story line from George RR Martin's series A Song of Ice and Fire, Euron Greyjoy will be a pivotal part of it.

In the books, Euron is described as an accomplished warrior and captain of a ship called the Silence. This Greyjoy is moody and has a bit of a temper.

Asbek now joins the likes of Ian McShane and Max vin Sydow to make the cast of season six of Game of Thrones.
