Salman Khan is Dabangg in his own terms and as history goes, you should not mess with this Khan! Salman can make and break careers. This time, it was noted singer Sonu Nigam who faced the actor's ire.

We hear that Salman had arrived to attend the Suron Ke Rang concert when Sonu asked him to come on stage. It was then that Salman allegedly told the singer that he doesn't need anyone to playback for him. This sudden rebuke not only surprised Sonu but also shocked the audiences present at the musical extravaganza.

“Sonu looked visibly upset about Salman’s comments. Khan was adamant to prove that singers have a very easy job to do. He even went on to say that he has a decent voice that can be improved using technology and made to sound good, then why would he need a Sonu Nigam or anyone else to croon for him. And obviously Sonu did not take this very well. In fact there was a fun segment that was to be shot between Salman and Sonu, which was then scrapped,” a source told a leading entertainment website.

Salman who sang Hangover from Kick last year had a similar argument with Sonu last year. Salman seems adamant that singers don't deserve more weightage as the actor can sing for himself while on the contrary, Sonu explained that singing is a matter of commitment. A year later, at the concert, it seems the singer and the actor got involved in another heated argument and this time Sonu did not like the way Salman took a dig at him and other singers.

We don't know what's true but if this is what happened, then we have just one question for Salman. Is it time to bid adieu to playback singers then?
