Babumoshai Bandookbaz: The shocking truth behind Chitrangda Singh walking out of Kushan Nandy's film

Kushan Nandy's Babumoshai Bandookbaz is ready for release. The film that was stuck in the pipeline for quite some time. Initially, the film starred Chitrangda Singh opposite Nawazuddin Siddiui.

But something awry happened and the actress walked out of the project. The news grabbed headlines as Chitrangda leveled some serious accusations against the director.

According to a SpotboyE report who quoted a source, "Kushan got a bit too engaged in the scene in question, which required Nawaz to only pull Chitrangada roughly on the bed and realise that someone is watching them. Kushan was not happy with the first take. He thundered: Chitrangada, you ought to get literally on top of Nawaz."

The article further stated, "Chitrangada told Nandy that how can he speak to her so outrageously while giving directions about an intimate scene in front of the entire unit. Kushan replied: Okay, let's talk it out aside. But by then, Chitrangada had lost it. She shot back: Now that you have started it in front of so many people, why end it in a place away from them? What do you think of yourself, Kushan?"

The actress fumed out of the sets to never return again. The director then got Bidita Bag to replace her and reshot the portions again which in turn further delayed the already delayed film. The first official teaser of Babumoshai Bandookbaz is out now.
