Baahubali 2: What the Rs 350 crore deal actually means!

Baahubali released last year in July and it created havoc at the box office. Raking in over Rs 600 crore from.its first part, the makers are excited about Baahubali 2. They are expecting it to be bigger than the first part and it might just be it. 

From the craze, buzz and hype, it seems Baahubali 2 will be unstoppable at the ticket counters when it release next April. The film will hit screens on April 28, 2016. There were reports that the film has already earned around Rs 350 crore from its theatrical rights. The rights have been sold to numerous distributors at exorbitant prices and although that looks hunky dory, there's a lot more to it. 

Reveals a trade source, "If the figures are true which possibly is the case, the Rs 350 crore deal also means that Baahubali 2 will have to do at least 550 crore to be a profit making project. If it doesn't, it will lose out on a lot of money. That is also something that the makers have in mind. But then again, Baahubali 2 will hopefully cross that mark worldwide very easily."
