Director Pandiraj's Pasanga 2 is releasing on December 24 for Christmas and there is excitement in the air. The film stars Nishesh, Baby Vaishnavi and Aarush, along with Suriya and Amala Paul. Here are five reasons why you must go watch this film.

Director Pandiraj
This National Award-winning director has already shown us how talented he is. Though he has done a wide range of films, it’s his films with kids that have made an impact on the audience. Though his first film with kids Pasanga fetched him a National Award, Marina didn’t get much critical appreciation. But Pandiraj ends the trilogy with Pasanga 2, which revolves around kids with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and expectations are high.

Suriya
One of the top stars in Kollywood, Suriya has not only acted in this film, but also produced it. This is the second film the actor is producing under his 2D Entertainment banner. Since the uber talented actor picked up the script, people expect a lot of substance from the movie. Suriya has also acted in the film as Tamizh Nadaan, a social activist. Since this role will be quite different from the ones the actor plays in his commercial flicks, we will see another facet of Suriya.

Amala Paul
The actress got married last year to director Vijay and has slowed down on her films. The actress chooses scripts that suit her personality and this movie is definitely going to be a feather in her cap. She plays a teacher – Venba – in this film.

Celebrating kids
How many Indian films that focus on children release in a year? Pasanga 2 revolves around children and that’s what makes the movie more exciting. Director Pandiraj spent over eight months looking for the right kids for the roles and he finally chose Nishesh, Baby Vaishnavi and Aarush as the lead actors. Actor Suriya shot a song with 60 kids for this film and this is likely to be a highlight.

ADHD
The central theme to this film is children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). There are very few films in India that deal with disorders that children face and how they shine and excel despite it all. This movie will not only create awareness about ADHD, but also give us an insight into children with ADHD.
