It is no secret that Salman Khan is a man of warmth. He is emotional and touchy, and all of this witnessed on reality shows like Bigg Boss, Dus Ka Dum and through his charity work via his foundation 'Being Human.'

Ahead of his action-thriller Race 3 which releases on Friday, Salman Khan opens about what kind of a film Race 3 is and why emotions are anchors.

During an interview with Times of India, when asked if Race 3 will have more heart and emotion than twists and turns since it is a Salman Khan starrer, the superstar said, "This film has every kind of action — motorcycles zipping, cars racing, cars blowing up, fist fights, and even the girls (Jacqueline Fernandez and Daisy Shah) will be seen doing super action. The previous 'Race' films weren’t high on emotion, so in that sense, this one is not within that old 'Race' format."

He also said that even though the film is undoubtedly an action bonanza, it is deeply layered with emotions.

"Yes, it is an action bonanza; it is a visual treat with a story that keeps the audience involved, but it is layered with emotion, humour and great music for my fans to come and watch with their families. It’s an easy watch; it is a film that doesn’t bog you down," he added.

So, are emotions and connecting with people vital for the Bollywood big shot?

"Today, people think that showing emotions is cliché, I don’t think so at all. I think showing emotion in our movies too, with the right kind of plot, works well with the audience," he said.

With the right amount of action, thriller, newness and sentiments, Race 3, directed by Remo D'souza is just the kind of feast his fans are waiting to dig into this Eid.
