'Sanju' smashes box office records in just 4 days of its release and that's reason enough for Rajkumar Hirani-Ranbir Kapoor and the entire cast to let their hair down
Ranbir Kapoor is a happy man! After his share of failures at the box office, the talented Kapoor lad has bounced back with Rajkumar Hirani's Dutt biopic 'Sanju' and how. The film has been smashing all box office records right from Day 1 of its release and that was reason enough for the entire star cast to get together for a star-studded bash.
'Sanju' set cash registers ringing on Monday too (July 2) and the film earned Rs 27 crores, creating another record of being the highest earning for any film on non-holiday Monday.
Ranbir Kapoor is on cloud nine and so is the team that worked on the biopic. To celebrate the success of Sanju, a party was thrown on Monday evening. Stars including Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Dia Mirza, Karishma Tanna, Ranbir Kapoor and Rajkumar Hirani, came together to lionise the entry of the Sanjay Dutt biopic in the coveted Rs. 100 crore club in its opening weekend itself.
Actor Vicky Kaushal who has been highly appreciated for his performance in the film gave it amiss and so did Sonam Kapoor and Anushka Sharma.
In his thank you speech, Ranbir Kapoor made sure to thank his reel life BFF for his contribution in the film as Vicky Kaushal joined the bash through video chat while he is in Serbia shooting for Uri. Paresh Rawal too got a special mention.
Ranbir also thanked the entire team for the achievement and dedicated the success to them.

After 'Sanju', Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in Ayan Mukherjee's Brahmastra, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Alia Bhatt, Yash Raj Films' 'Shamshera' with Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor and Luv Ranjan's untitled film with Ajay Devgn as well.
