Ajay Devgn and Ileana D'Cruz starrer Raid has finally managed to cross the Rs 100 crore mark at the box office in 22 days of its release. The social drama also stars Saurabh Shukla in a pivotal role. The film received an extremely positive word of mouth from the audience and gathered positive reviews from the critics as well which helped it to enter the coveted Rs 100 crore club.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter account to share the details of the box office numbers of Raid in the fourth week. He wrote, "Here’s the fourth 100 cr film of 2018... #Raid crosses ₹ 100 cr mark on Day 22... [Week 4] Fri 43 lakhs. Total: ₹ 100.14 cr. India biz. HIT.

Initially, it looked a bit difficult for the film to enter the Rs 100 crore club, since it faced stiff competition from films like Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Hichki and more recently from the Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani starrer Baaghi 2. But looks like a positive word of mouth seems to have worked in its favour, helping it to cross the mark in its fourth week.

Raid has been made at a total cost of Rs 45 crore and has managed to emerge as a hit film. The movie is said to be based on true incident back in the 1980s and 90s.
