Rani Reikbar, 28, a lady from UP, pulled a nine ton truck with her hair at Nayabaneshwor in the outskirt of Kathmandu amidst a cheering crowd of hundreds of people.
Rani tied two ropes to her hair and then fastened their other ends to the truck. Then, watched by the hundreds of onlookers, she started pulling the truck gradually to the surprise of many.
Amid the show, Indian herbal giant Ban Labs Ltd launched its hair care products in Nepal.
The publicity stunt caused an hour long traffic jam in one of the most busy areas of Kathmandu. The Rajkot based herbal produce manufacturer is eyeing the Nepalese market for its products.
Rani accompanied by sales personnel, is travelling across the Himalayan republic to display the efficacy of the company's hair products to market in a new style.
The four decade old company, which exports its products to Europe, Africa, Middle East and South East Asia, is now offering the products to Nepalse buyers.
"We hope that this road show will create confidence among Nepali women and be a source of inspiration," said a leaflet distributed on the occasion.
