India track and field star Hima Das has thanked everyone for their wishes after her recent haul of gold medals. Das has won five gold medals in less than three weeks.
Hima Das posted a video on social media thanking everyone. She added that these events were 'warm ups' and she is focussing on big championships like World Championship. She asked people to 'keep wishing and blessing' her so that she can continue her good performance.

Indian speedster Hima Das has caught the attention of everyone with her gold-winning spree this month. She has won five gold medals in a span of less than three weeks. Hima’s latest gold came on Saturday at the Nove Mesto Athletics Meet in Prague. She clocked a timing of 52.09 seconds to complete the 400m race, registering her season-best timing. Earlier, she won gold in 200m in Tabor Athletic Meet on Wednesday. Prior to Tabor Athletic Meet, she won three gold medals at different events including Klado Athletic Meet, Kunto Athletics Meet, and Poznan Athletics Grand Prix.
Hima, known as 'Dhing Express', hails from the Dhing town in Nagaon district of Assam.
