While many people know that cricketers like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have a massive net worth of hundreds of crores, built through brand deals and endorsements, a brother-sister duo established a massive sports company that helped them get these deals.
Siblings Bunty Sajdeh and Ritika Sajdeh are two of the most successful sports management professionals, who have managed two former Indian team captains – Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma – through their company Cornerstone Sports.
Cornerstone is a sports and talent management company headed by entrepreneur Bunty Sajdeh. Bunty, along with his sister, started this business by signing contracts of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma in their initial stages, later expanding it to the film industry.
Siblings Bunty and Ritika Sajdeh helped Virat Kohli land multiple endorsement deals worth crores, such as his brand deal with Adidas and other leading brands. Bunty Sajdeh is also close friends with Kohli, and has been seen together in several public events.
Cornerstone Sports and Entertainment was started by Bunty Sajdeh in 2008, and one of the first deals of the company being Virat Kohli’s Rs 100 crore endorsement by sports apparel company Puma.
Some of the other clients of Ritika Sajdeh and Bunty Sajdeh’s agency Cornerstone Sports are noted sportspersons and Bollywood actors such as PV Sindhu, Sania Mirza, Kuldeep Yadav, Ananya Pandey, Sara Ali Khan, Vijay Deverakonda and others.
Bunty Sajdeh and Ritika Sajdeh’s company Cornerstone reportedly has revenue of over Rs 150 crore, according to Tofler. They are currently managing several big personalities and generating constant revenue over the last few years.
Not many people know that the Sajdeh’s are actually related to one of the top Indian cricketers. Ritika Sajdeh, who was previously the manager of Virat Kohli, is currently married to Indian team captain Rohit Sharma, making Bunty Sajdeh his brother-in-law.
