Investigations around Sushant Singh Rajput's death turn murkier as each day goes by. The actor was found dead in his Mumbai residence on June 14 and several agencies including the Central Bureau of Investigation and Narcotics Control Bureau are on call to get to the bottom of the case. 

Since June 14, there have been several developments in the case, however, recently there were a few things related to the case that got our attention. 

Here's a breakdown of the major events that have taken place in the last few weeks.

A week after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) opposed an FIR against late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's sisters on the complaint of Rhea Chakraborty, saying it is "vitiated" and "bad in law", the Mumbai Police on Monday responded by telling the Bombay High Court that the complaint "disclosed commission of the offence" and that they were 'duty-bound' to register the complaint.

The police also urged the court in its affidavit to dismiss the petition filed by Rajput's sisters seeking quashing of the case against them.

The anger in people's minds has stayed since Sushant Singh Rajput's death on June 14, 2020. Millions of people have come together on social media pages to demand justice for the late actor. At every step of the death case from Mumbai Police to CBI, people have been sharing their opinions on social media pages. Now as per latest reports in Hindustan Times, about 80,000 fake accounts have been created across all social media platforms to demoralise Mumbai Police and Maharashtra government. 
Confirming the same, an IPS officer told the daily, "We identified the posts in foreign languages because of the hashtags used like #justiceforsushant #sushantsinghrajput and #SSR. We’re in the process of verifying more accounts."

Sushant Singh Rajput's last film Drive released on Netflix in November 2019, seven months after which suicide committed suicide. 

Jacqueline Fernandez who was his co-star in the film recently shared a story on how she is missing Sushant Singh Rajput as their movie 'Drive' completed a year. The actress took to Instagram and penned a note in which she wrote, 'Miss you Sush' along with photos of them.

"Wish he was still here with us", wrote Jacqueline, while missing her co-star, who died under mysterious circumstances this year. "1 year of Drive.. Wish he was still here with us..Miss you Sush," she wrote.
