Former Pakistan captain Younus Khan has said that he is ready to represent his country in any form of cricket, including Twenty20 after being recalled to the national side following an indefinite suspension.

Younus, 32, who led his country to the Twenty20 World Cup in England last year, was banned for indiscipline following Pakistan’s unsuccessful tour of Australia this year.

According to the Daily Times, Khan was recalled on Wednesday for a limited overs series against South Africa in place of Mohammad Yousuf who has been declared unfit with a hamstring injury.

“It is good to be back in the team. I am ready to play in any form of cricket, whether it is Twenty20, ODIs or Test matches if the management and board wants me,” Younus told reporters at Gaddafi Stadium here Thursday.

Though available, Younus’ selection is not guaranteed; he averages just over 25 from 22 Twenty20 matches with a relatively unspectacular strike-rate of 124.85.
