Pakistani athletes and officials participating in the Commonwealth Games can visit Agra to see the Taj Mahal as their accreditation cards will work as visa.

Sources said the visitors from the neighbouring country, who were given only Delhi specific visa, would not have any problem if they wish to travel to Agra to see the Taj Mahal in the daily special trains run by the Games Organising Committee as their accreditation cards would be considered as visa.

Beginning today, a special train will go to Agra daily for the CWG delegates who want to see the Taj Mahal. They will leave for Agra in the morning, visit the Taj Mahal, have lunch at a five star hotel and return in the evening. The train service will continue till October 13.

Around 50 Pakistani athletes and officials are participating the Commonwealth Games.

Visiting the famous 17 Century monument built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan tops the wish list of a majority of the athletes from across the world who have converged at the Games Village.
