Australian opener David Warner believes Australia's hunger to complete a series whitewash against India will make a difference in the fourth Test match at Adelaide.

India has already lost the series after being trounced by Australia in the first three Test matches with their famed batting line-up has failing despondently during the Test series.

Now Warner believes Australia are starving for a series whitewash over world's number two Test team.

"As Michael Clarke said the other day after the game (in Perth), celebrate your win but at the end of the day we want to try and beat the second team in the world four-nil," said Warner while speaking to reporters in Sydney on Wednesday.

Warner said the Australian team wants to reach at the top once again and assume number one Test ranking before the Ashes in 2013, The Sydney Morning Herald reports.

"That's a massive thing for us at the moment. Our goal is to become number one again by the next Ashes in 2013. If we can keep working towards that, our goals will be achieved," he added.

While Indian bating line-up has surrendered miserably during this Test series, Warner is still wary of them.

"There might be a lot of people in their shed wondering how they're going to score runs. In my mind there is probably only one player (in form) and that's Sachin Tendulkar who looks like he's using a sightscreen when he comes out to bat," he added.

Warner also expects the Indian batsmen to give out everything in the Test match at Adelaide and expressed his awe for the Indian batting line-up.

"But the other players, they're all world-class players. You look at the amount of runs they've got in the top six in their careers. It's phenomenal. We are expecting them to show some aggression in this next Test," he added.
