Having lost Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli, the in-form batsmen of the series, India were in a spot of bother in the fifth and final Test against England in Chennai.

Young Karun Nair must have surely felt the pressure at that time as he had not been amongst runs since making his debut  a couple of matches ago.

However, the middle-order batsman showed rare maturity and notched up his maiden Test century on Monday to guide India to safety. His innings was a patient one, giving India hope that there is another star to look out for in the future.
