Here in India, we happen to be the most fortunate when it comes to prices of apps on the Google Play Store--the lowest-priced apps stand at Rs 10. Contrast this to most other location around the globe where the minimum app price is 99 cents (approximately Rs 65.)

Following a successful trial of these lowered prices in India, Google is rolling out lowered app prices in the app stores of several countries. Among the lowest now is Ukraine and Turkey with this base price being revised to 21 cents, followed by Indonesia at 22 cents. The highest of these is Poland, which is now 45 cents. Still, all of these revised price limits are significantly lower than the earlier norm, and should be instrumental in reach out to wider audiences that may be more price sensitive.

So if you happen to be an Android app developer keen to sell at a lower price, you can tweak this setting in the "Pricing & Distribution" or "In-app Products" in Google Play's Developer Console.
