Square Enix has launched a mobile port of the game on both the Play Store and App Store for Rs 1,050.

Heads up JRPG fans, a brand new Final Fantasy game just rolled into the the Android and iOS mobile stores.
Square Enix has released a mobile version of Final Fantasy IX on the Play Store and App Store, complete with touch control optimisation, and the ability to fast forward or skip through random encounters in game. The game is the second in the series to receive a reboot for mobile devices and PC, following Final Fantasy VI. It's priced at Rs 1,050 on both the Play Store and App Store, and is ready for download, just two months after it was first announced.
The PC version of the title, according to its Steam page, is scheduled for early 2016.
Final Fantasy IX was a huge another huge success in the long-running series when it launched on the PlayStation in 200). It was the last time the game made an appearance on the console, with Square Enix instead later releasing a remastered version for the PlayStation Portable (PSP).
