Father-in-law, son-in-law in ministry

For the first time, perhaps, there is a father-in-law, son-in-law combination in the Union Council of Ministers.
       
Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah (72) was inducted into the Union Cabinet on Thursday, while his son-in-law Sachin Pilot made his ministerial debut when he was sworn in as a minister of state.
      
32-year-old Pilot, son of late Congress leader Rajesh Pilot, is married to National Conference leader Abullah's daughter Sarah.
       
Gujjar leader Pilot, who has been elected from Ajmer in Rajasthan, took oath in Hindi, while Abdullah, elected from Srinagar, took oath in English. Both swore by God.
