Fresh bail applications of Satyam accused filed

Fresh bail applications for Satyam's former CFO Vadlamani Srinivas and former partners of Price Waterhouse S Gopalakrishnan and Talluri Srinivas were filed in a local court here on Monday.

The fresh bail applications were filed before the XIV additional chief metropolitan magistrate after the Rs 7,800 crore Satyam fraud case was transferred from the 6th additional chief metropolitan magistrate.

The judge posted the hearing for March four.

The case was transferred to another court after central investigating agency CBI took over the biggest corporate scam from the Andhra Pradesh CID recently.

This is third bail application of Vadlamani Srinivas, Gopalakrishnan and Talluri Srinivas. Earlier, the 6th additional chief metropolitan magistrate has dismissed the bail pleas twice.
