Orchid designs imported modular kitchens showroom

   
CHENNAI: Indians will now have a range of kitchens similiar to the ones used in Europe, with city based Orchid Designs Pvt Ltd launching their first imported modular kitchen showroom here at an investment of Rs one crore.
   
The company had recently announced a tie-up with Europe's leading kitchen maker 'Ewe' to import modular kitchens.
   
"We have invested around Rs one crore for this showroom displaying 'Ewe range of modular kitchens". Based on customers' requirements, we offer these kitchens at a various price range," Orchid Designs Pvt Ltd CEO K Chandrasekar said here.
   
To a query, he said, the economical 'Ewebasic' brand is priced about Rs six lakh, while to top end 'Ewedition' is priced at Rs 33 lakh.
   
The company would also inangurate the second such showroom at Bangalore by early December. "It will be set up on an area of 5,500 square feet, he said, adding that the company planned to open a similar showrooms in  six months in some more cities", he said.
   
The company has set itself a target of selling at least 25-30 modular kitchens a month and also plan to enter Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh markets, he added.
